Professor Rosenblatt is a regular contributor and speaker at the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and teaches airway management internationally. His research interest includes airway algorithm development, awake intubation, fiberoptic intubation, transtracheal jet ventilation and supraglottic airways. He has contributed to numerous book chapters concerning airway management and has an extensive list of publications on this topic.

Dr Orlando Hung is Professor of Anesthesia, Surgery and Pharmacology at Dalhousie University, Medical Director of Research in the Department of Anesthesia and a staff anesthesiologist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Dr Hung's areas of clinical and research interest include airway management, clinical pharmacology and drug delivery systems.
Through collaborations with other clinicians and scientists at Dalhousie, Stanford, and the University of Toronto, Dr Hung has developed and patented a number of innovative drug delivery systems and medical devices.
On three occasions (1992, 1997 and 2002), Dr Hung received the Research Award in Anesthesia from the Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society. He is also the recipient of a number of teaching awards, including, the Professional Association of Residents in the Maritime Provinces Excellence in teaching Award (2005).
Dr Hung completed his training in pharmacy, medicine, and anesthesia at Dalhousie University followed by a research fellowship at Stanford University where he collaborated with leaders in pharmacokinetic research. Dr Hung has served on the Editorial Board of the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia for the past 9 years and is the co-author of the textbook “Management of the Difficult and Failed Airway.”

Dr Richard Levitan is the founder and owner of Airway Cam Technologies, Inc., and the operator of the AirwayCam.com website. He is an emergency physician, researcher, inventor of the Airway Cam direct laryngoscopy video system and the Levitan FPS optical stylet, and is an internationally recognised expert in the area of emergency airway management. Dr Levitan has been published widely in leading peer-reviewed journals in the field of emergency medicine and related specialties, and has given over 350 invited lectures on airway management around the country and the world.
